Raw Materials
In addition to accessing vegetable oil from the international markets, OXEM is involved in several projects dedicated to assure competitiveness and access to high quality raw materials:
- in Italy, OXEM is a shareholder of the agricultural services company Agrodinamica, active in promotion and development of oilseed crops in Italy;
- OXEM participates in the “Distretto EnergEtica”, an Association aiming to support an integrated supply chain dedicated to energy from agricultural sources in North-West Italy;
- in Romania, OXEM is shareholder of BIM, a company dedicated to developing an oilseed origination network in East Europe. BIM in its role of seed collector, fixes oilseed “chain” contracts with local farmers.
