Shareholders
The OXEM project has attracted a number of industrial and financial investors and enjoys the backing of important Italian entrepreneurs with significant expertise in several industries.
Oxon-Sipcam Group, a leading player in the chemical and agro-chemical market, has 48.2% of the share capital with the other shareholders having between 3% and 10%.
Among the other shareholders: Adolfo Vannucci (former owner and CEO of IES Refinery in Mantova), Gavio Group (one of the largest Italian conglomerates ranging from infrastructures to engineering and logistics), Federico Radice Fossati (large agricultural farms and real estates in Italy and Romania), Monfer (grain trading and logistics), DAM (Manuli Rubber Industries), Luca Baffigo Filangeri (Eataly and Fontanafredda) and Giovanni Affaba (C.E.O. of Oxon-Sipcam Group).
The top managers of OXEM (Stefano Meloni with Melpart S.p.A., Claudio Rocchietta with Biofuels Partners S.r.l. and Alastair M. Fraser) have an equity interest in the Company and are highly qualified in the biodiesel sector, bringing together many years of chemical, agribusiness and project finance experience in a unique blend.
